Privacy policy
This is a plain-English summary of what Timelee collects, why each piece exists and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past, and it says where the limits are.
The summary, before the detail
Timelee is a reminder app built by GTS Infosoft LLP. To deliver a reminder at a time you chose, on a device you may not be holding, we have to hold the reminder and enough information to reach you. That is the whole basis of what we collect.
You sign in with your Google account, so Timelee never sees or stores a password for you. Your reminders and their settings are stored on Timelee's servers. Photos and voice notes you attach go to cloud object storage. Your phone number is stored so that a reminder call can be placed to it, and only after its owner has confirmed it with a one-time code.
We do not sell your data and we do not sell access to it to advertisers. We do not use your reminders to build an advertising profile. Your reminders are content you created, held so they can be delivered.
Who this covers, and when it took effect
This policy applies to the Timelee apps for Android and iOS, the Timelee web app, and this website, all provided by GTS Infosoft LLP. It took effect on 15 September 2026 and replaces any earlier version. When it changes in a way that affects you, the new version is published here with a new date rather than applied quietly — the date above is the one in force. Privacy, access and deletion requests go to support@timelee.io.
What is collected, and why each piece is there
Nothing on this list exists for a reason other than making the product work.
Your account identity
Your Google sign-in identity and the email address attached to it, so Timelee knows which reminders are yours across three platforms without a password of its own.
Your reminders and their settings
Titles, notes, times, repeat rules, delivery choices, priorities, categories, tags and steps. These are stored because they have to be delivered later, on a device that may not be the one you created them on.
Verified phone numbers
The numbers you or somebody else confirmed by one-time code, held so a reminder call can be placed and so the app can show which numbers are eligible.
Attachments
Photos and voice notes you add to a reminder, stored in cloud object storage and referenced by the reminder rather than embedded in it.
History
Reminders you completed or missed, kept so you can look back and check whether something actually happened.
Sharing information
When you share or assign a reminder, the recipient and whether they accepted, declined or have not answered. The reminder's content is visible to the person you shared it with.
Your language and preferences
Your chosen language, tone, snooze and delivery defaults, so the app, the reminder email and the spoken phone call all come in your language rather than the server's.
Google Calendar, only if you connect it
Read access to your calendar events so they can appear beside your reminders. Timelee cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendar, and you can disconnect it.
How it is used and who else sees it
Reminder data is used to deliver reminders and to show them to you on your own devices. Nothing else. There is no advertising product here, no data sale, and nothing in Timelee is trained on or mined for another purpose.
Some parts of the service necessarily involve other companies. Sign-in runs through Google. Attachments sit in cloud object storage. A phone call reminder is placed over the phone network, which means a telecommunications provider carries the call and sees the number being dialled, exactly as it would for any other call. App store purchases of call credits are processed by Google Play or the App Store, not by us.
A shared or assigned reminder is, by design, visible to the person you gave it to. A phone call reminder pointed at somebody else's number plays your reminder text to whoever answers that number. Both are choices you make deliberately, and both are worth thinking about before you put sensitive detail in a reminder title.
Data is stored while your account exists, because a reminder that repeats yearly has to survive the year. If you want your account and its data removed, tell us and we will remove it.
Where your data is stored, and for how long
Timelee's servers and its file storage run on Amazon Web Services in the United States, in the us-east-1 region in Northern Virginia. If you use Timelee from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and held there, and using the service means accepting that transfer.
Reminders, notes, attachments and history are kept while your account exists — a reminder that repeats yearly has to survive the year, and history is only useful if it reaches back. Verified phone numbers are kept until you remove them. Records of calls that were actually placed are kept as billing records, because a credit that was spent has to be explainable later.
When you ask for deletion, the account and the personal information attached to it are removed from the live service. If a copy still sits in a routine backup, it goes when that backup rotates; that is a property of backing anything up, not a second copy kept deliberately.
Your privacy rights in the United States
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you specific rights over personal information. Timelee extends them to everyone, wherever you live — running two standards would mean treating most people worse for no reason we could defend.
Timelee does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising product here and no data-broker relationship, so there is nothing for a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to switch off. We would rather say that plainly than publish a link that does nothing.
To use any of these rights, email support@timelee.io from the address attached to your Google sign-in, or tell us which account you mean. We verify who you are before acting, normally by confirming the request comes from the signed-in account, and we answer within 45 days, or explain why we are taking the further 45 days the law allows. Using a right will never cost you access, features or a worse price. If you send an authorised agent, we will ask for proof you gave them permission.
What you can ask for
- To know what personal information Timelee holds about you, where it came from, and who it has been disclosed to
- A copy of that information in a portable form
- Correction of anything held about you that is wrong
- Deletion of your account and the personal information attached to it
- To limit the use of sensitive personal information — for Timelee that means your phone number and any location attached to a place reminder, both used only to deliver reminders you set up
- To opt out of sale or sharing, which is already the position for every user, because neither happens
The choices you have
- Delete an individual reminder, with its notes and attachments, at any time
- Remove a verified phone number so it can no longer receive reminder calls
- Disconnect Google Calendar, after which Timelee stops reading your events
- Decline a shared reminder somebody sent you
- Decline location, microphone, camera or contacts permission — the features that need them stop working, and nothing else does
- Ask for your account and its data to be deleted, by emailing support@timelee.io
Timelee is not for children under 13
Timelee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. An account requires a Google sign-in, which carries Google's own age requirements. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, write to support@timelee.io and we will delete the account and the data attached to it.
Privacy questions people actually ask
Is my data sold or used for advertising?
No. Your reminders and your phone number exist so Timelee can deliver reminders to you. They are not sold and they are not shared with advertisers.
Why can my reminders not simply stay on my phone?
Because a reminder you create on a laptop has to reach your phone, and because a real phone call is placed by a server rather than by your handset. Neither is possible with purely local storage.
Does Timelee store a password?
No. Sign-in is your Google account, so no Timelee password is ever created and none can be leaked from us.
Who can see a reminder I share with someone?
The person you shared or assigned it to. They see the reminder's content and can accept or decline it, and you see which they chose.
Is Timelee GDPR, HIPAA or SOC 2 certified?
No. Timelee holds no such certification and displays no badge claiming one. What this page sets out is actual practice — what is collected, where it is stored, and what you can ask for. Certification is a separate, audited thing, and claiming it without the audit would be a lie.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@timelee.io, naming the Google account you sign in with, and say that you want the account and its data removed.
Where is my data held?
On Amazon Web Services in the United States, in the us-east-1 region in Northern Virginia. That is where both the servers and the attachment storage live.
