Most reminder apps are list software. The list was never the hard part — the hard part is the half-second at 6pm when the reminder arrives with nine other things and you clear all ten with one swipe. Timelee is built around that half-second.
The one idea
A reminder is not a plan. It is a delivery. It only worked if it reached a conscious person who then did something about it, and by that standard most reminders quietly fail: the phone was silent, the phone was in another room, the notification was buried, or you swiped it away before you were awake enough to read it.
The usual response to that is to ask people to be more disciplined. We think it is a design problem rather than a discipline problem. Every notification gets the same half-second of attention, so the important ones get a half-second too.
Timelee's answer is to let a reminder have more than one route to you, and to let you choose which routes a particular reminder is allowed to use. An ordinary alarm for the bins. A full-screen call inside the app for something you want to actually look at. A real phone call, placed by our servers to a number you have verified, for the dose or the flight or the filing deadline. Nothing escalates unless you asked it to, and the escalation stops the moment you respond.
Better odds, not a guarantee.
If you ignore the phone call too, no app can help you. What changes is the number of chances a reminder gets, and how different they are from each other.
What Timelee actually is
Around that idea sits an ordinary, complete reminder app. Fourteen kinds of reminder, from a to-do with steps to a medication schedule with a photo of the box. Repeats with individual day toggles. Pre-alarms, a nag setting, snooze you can turn off per reminder. Priorities, categories, tags, history, shared reminders with accept and decline.
It runs on Android, on iPhone and iPad, and in a browser, on one Google sign-in. The phone is what rings; the browser is where it is comfortable to plan. Everything is translated into 32 languages, four of them laid out right to left rather than merely translated, and that reaches all the way through to the words spoken on the phone call.
Timelee is built by GTS Infosoft LLP. We would rather this page said less and meant it than padded itself out with a founding myth.
Decisions we have made, and will keep
- No reminder escalates on its own — the loud channels are opt-in, per reminder
- Escalation is a response to silence, so acknowledging the first alert ends it
- Timelee can only ring a phone number whose owner has verified it with a one-time code
- We do not sell your data, and we do not sell access to it to advertisers
- We do not display certifications we have not earned
- We do not publish price figures on a web page that the app is the real authority on
What Timelee is not
Not a project manager. Not a calendar — it can show your Google Calendar events beside your reminders, as a read, and it never writes to them. Not a note-taking app, though a reminder can carry a full detail page. And not an AI product: Timelee does not predict, suggest, summarise or generate anything, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming that it does.
How we talk about the product
There are no customer quotes, star ratings, user counts or awards anywhere on this site. That is not modesty and it is not an oversight — we would rather have no social proof than invented social proof, and the pages are built so that fabricating it is not possible.
The same rule applies to the product's limits. The web dashboard can build almost any reminder, but it cannot fire one: there is no browser or desktop notification for reminders. Place reminders need a phone to watch the geofence. Email delivery exists only on repeating reminders. Credits cannot be bought on the web. We would rather you learned all of that here than found it out in week two.
